INFORMATION ABOUT REMOTE DESKTOP

To be able to assist you even better in support cases, we offer remote support in combination with the free software of FastViewer or TeamViewer. This is a program that allows us to view the screen output of your computer remotely and to control it if necessary. The installation program, which is required for remote support, can be downloaded after confirming the conditions below.

Please contact our support by phone to initiate the remote session.

The use of FastViewer or TeamViewer is subject to the following conditions, among others:

  • WebhostOne GmbH does not assume any warranty for the programs installed on your computer, nor for their protective devices (virus scanner or firewall). The customer is solely responsible for his data security, regular backups are assumed by us.
  • The liability of WebhostOne GmbH is limited to intent and gross negligence.
  • WebhostOne GmbH assumes no liability for faults not caused by it, even if they are close in time to the support provided.
  • Please have your customer number and the access data needed for the support case ready.
  • The session is started with active remote control. Please inform the person you are talking to if you want to deactivate it.
  • A sufficiently fast internet connection is necessary for the support session. The connection is encrypted.
  • For documentation purposes the support session is recorded.
  • Only download the file if you were asked to do so by telephone.
